Motorcycle Show

This year we had tremendous success at the International Motorcycle Show. There was a lot more interest this year, more than usual. The booth seemed to be always full and a lot of interest in the race schools. Regardless another success and I think the sport here in Canada is ready to make some giant steps forward.

I had the privelidge to do some interviews with Frank Wood of Inside Motorcycles. Everything went very smoothly and we talked about our sport and the excitement that it generates. I tend to focus on the growth of the sport and believe its going to really become something big in Canada.

Update

So basically I'm still here in the freezing cold! Yikes I know, well there were a number of things that came up that wouldn't allow me to leave on scheduled departure. The main reason was because I had improper insurance which would take time to get the proper one. An honest mistake by both parties. This dilemma put us behind schedule and I would then miss a few races. At this point in time, I had soo many personal issues and responsibilities of my own to attend to. We then made the decision that it would be best to plan the trip for this November coming and make sure everything would be fully in place. In the meantime, I have thank my continuing supporters and I will be ready for this years challanges.

This year my goals for speedway would be to retain the Canadian High Points Championship, win the the 2 round Canadian Nationals, the National series, and of course entertain my fans.

A lil' bit about me and why I'm going!

I'm 21 years old. I own Hesmer Motorsports and work on building cars for a living, recently made this a hobby and in the midst of taking over my fathers business, which overall is more for me. I've been racing motorcyles since I was very young I think as young as 5. My career started in motocross and developed into speedway since my family was soo involved. My interests grew more and more over the years for speedway and has become definately a heart felt passion. With this passion I've become involved with the politics of the sport and I like every aspect of it. Recently I tried organizing and promoting some races and with the support of many as passionate as I am, there was no doubt a huge success. Why was it a success, because speedway is the best sport ever and if anyone sees it they will tell you that! hehe so...
I think I chose to do this experience for many reasons. First of all I guess speedway is a decent talent of mine. I pretty much have the oppourtntiy to ride anywhere in the world but why do I choose Argentina. I love my home here in Canada and there's nothing more to then to have the sport really take off here. So I'm going to continue working hard at achieveing that goal but I have this great oppourtunity to go somewhere during the off season to develop new ideas, be in 30 + degree weather and live my passion for another 2 months of the year. It's every racers dream to be able to race all the time and... I hate the cold! Another thing that makes it a positive thing is that it handles my work schedule brilliantly. ConDrain is shut down for the month of January. So am I excited? Yeah, but definately freaked out at the same time!
